Just remember that it is not impossible to lay aside instant gratification to gain health benefits. There is no single solution to overcoming the problem of gratification perception. But, you can actually try some methods to help you overcome this. In your health plan, add a bit of instant gratification. Motive yourself by gibing yourself a reward whenever your health goal is achieved. As you get used to your new habits, you can start reducing your rewards.

Don’t make a mistake of rewarding yourself with food items that will go against your health goals. With these rewards, you can have self gratification while achieving your health goals.
